Foundation for Resource
Linkage and Development, Inc.
At the helm of these triple events
is the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development,
Inc. (FRLD), a non-government organization that
has been involved in the promotion of agricultural
development since 1989. FRLD first ventured into
exhibit management in 1994 through PigLink held
in Davao City. In 1995, PigLink expanded its coverage
to encompass the entire agricultural sector giving
birth to AgriLink at a new venue-PICC, Manila.
From 1998 to 2001, FRLD increased its international
marketing promotions by tying up with the Royal
Dutch Jaarbeurs. In 2000, FRLD further raised
the standards of the exhibit when it moved AgriLink
to the World Trade Center, Manila's biggest and
most modern exhibition site. It is also signaled
the start of the FoodLink as a back to back event
with AgriLink. And in April 2004, FRLD introduced
a fisheries convention and exhibit which highlighted
aquaculture, AquaLink.
